Da’Rick Rogers Doesn’t Own A Car?

One of the first things an NFL rookie typically buys is a nice luxurious car.

But Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Da’Rick Rogers didn’t buy a nice luxurious car.

In fact he didn’t buy a car at all.

When BuffaloBills.com’s Hannah Buehler asked Rogers what kind of car he had, he responded:

"As crazy as it is, I don’t even own a car….I’m one of those guys that just likes to ride in the passenger seat and text the whole way."

Even though Rogers is an undrafted free agent, that probably signed for near the league minimum, it’s still surprising that hasn’t even bought a car yet.

Rogers said he relies on his fellow rookie teammates for rides to practice.

"I got good guys like Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin, I just hop in their car and head on to practice."

The Bills’ wide receiver corps is a bit crowded right now, with Stevie Johnson and T.J. Graham already on the roster, there’s not going to be a lot of extra playing time left.

Rogers is directly competing with Woods and Goodwin for playing time, so it’s good to see the three getting along.

The Bills have Rogers on a short leash and a player like Woods can be nothing but a good influence for the former Tennessee Volunteer.

Rogers has a lot to prove, and it looks like he has the right attitude moving forward.

"I’m here to work, everything that’s happened in the past, anything that’s happened, this is day one, it’s a new start, I’m ready to work and I’m glad to be a Buffalo Bill."
