There were a ton of defensive plays yesterday that could’ve been considered for play of the game honors, including Cam Sutton and Justin Coleman’s interceptions that were returned for touchdowns.

Unfortunately for those two, there was a play that was a clear cut “play of the game”.

In fact, the play you’re about to watch made Sportscenter’s top five plays of the day, coming in at number two.

At first glance, it looked like there was no way this was a catch, but Marquez North (a true freshman) kept his concentration and made the circus like grab.

Vol fans are extremely excited about North, as they should be. If he keeps making plays like this, it won’t be long until he’s a staple in our weekly “play of the week feature”.
