When the Vols were down 17-3 at halftime on Saturday, the only folks who knew, without a doubt, that they were still in the game were the guys in the Peyton Manning Locker Room.
The Vols came out in the second half ready to go and this toe-tapping touchdown catch from Marquez North is the spark that got the fire going.
North’s first career touchdown catch brought the Vols within one score of the Bulldogs.
The play was great on several different fronts.
Worley made an absolutely perfect throw to North, just past the arms of two Georgia defenders. Basically where Worley placed the ball, was the ONLY window that would’ve allowed a score.
Of course North’s awareness to get his feet down, and hold on to the ball, was amazing in it’s own way. This catch showed why Marquez North was so highly recruited coming out of Charlotte, NC.
