The Alabama Crimson Tide will be without one of their top defenders when they take on the Tennessee Volunteers this Saturday.

Safety Vinnie Sunseri, son of former Tennessee defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri, will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Sunseri was having himself quite a season, with 20 tackles and two interceptions.

Alabama just recently got safety HaHa Clinton-Dix back from a suspension.

It’s always tough for a team to lose such an important contributor, but the Crimson Tide’s a deep team and they’ll have the “next man up” mentality.

Alabama and Tennessee will kick off at 3:30 pm ET on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on CBS as the national game of the week.
