The Tennessee Volunteers’ season may be over, but the most anticipated day of the year — so far —  still awaits them.

That’s because on Wednesday one of the Vols top targets, WR Josh Malone, will be announcing where he’ll be playing in 2014.

Malone is said to be choosing between Tennessee, Clemson, Georgia and Florida State.

There are some folks, however, that believe Malone is down to two schools — Clemson and Tennessee.

Regardless of who the finalists truly are at this point, Malone still hasn’t made his final decision.

Malone signed financial aid papers with Clemson, Tennessee and Georgia last month, which allowed the coaches of those respective schools more access to the Tennessee native.

It’s easy to understand why Malone is so highly coveted. He’s a 6’3″/190 lb WR that runs a 4.49 40.

247Sports rates him as a four-star WR and the fifth best WR in the nation.

Rivals recently upgraded him to a five-star WR and rates him as the third best WR in the nation.

Malone will announce his decision on Wednesday at 12:00 pm ET. His decision will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network.

97% of the 39 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for Malone have him committing to Tennessee.

Rivals’ national recruiting director Mike Farrell is also among those who believe Malone will be choosing Tennessee.

Malone would be a HUGE get for the Vols.

The thought of Malone lining up alongside Marquez North and 2014 commit Lavon Pearson is extremely exciting for Tennessee fans.

Malone will be an early enrollee at whichever school he chooses to attend.
