Cordarrelle Patterson highlights are becoming a weekly occurrence on this site.

It took the Minnesota Vikings a little while to figure out what they had in their rookie WR, but Patterson is starting to heat up and making big plays on a regular basis.

Sunday was no different for the former Vol.

Patterson caught a short pass from Vikings QB Matt Cassel and turned it into a 79 yard TD that temporarily gave the Vikings the lead over the Baltimore Ravens.

Patterson had his best day of the year so far on Sunday, catching five passes for 141 yards. He also added six rushing yards.

The Ravens eventually won the game on a late Joe Flacco TD pass, but Patterson’s TD certainly made it a fun finish.

Patterson now has 35 catches for 395 yards and two TD’s this season. He also has two kick-return TD’s and one rushing TD.
