Alex Bullard, the Tennessee Volunteers’ departing starter at left guard, has accepted an invitation to play in the Medal of Honor Bowl.

The game will take place on January 11 at 2:00 PM ET in Charleston, SC on the campus of the Citadel. The 2014 game is the inaugural Medal of Honor Bowl.

Bullard, who started his career with Notre Dame, finished his career as a Vol, starting 25 games over his three seasons in Knoxville.

During Bullard’s time at Tennessee he played at left guard, right guard, center and tight end, proving to be a versatile part of the Vols’ esteemed offensive line.

Bullard has been overshadowed during his time at Tennessee by players like Antonio Richardson and Ja’wuan James, but there’s a great chance you’ll see the former Vol playing on Sundays next season.
