Vols Linebacker Leaves Program
By Zach Ragan
The University of Tennessee announced on Tuesday that redshirt-sophomore linebacker Christian Harris has left the football program.
In a move that’s becoming increasingly more common, the Vols announced the departure of Harris via Twitter. This is just another example of the growing importance of social media, which is something Tennessee embraces more than some other schools.
Harris appeared in 22 career games for the Vols, accounting for five tackles. The Georgia native played mostly on special teams. He was rated as a three-star prospect coming out of Etowah High School.
