Former Vol Players Side With Cuonzo Martin

A Tweet may only be 140 characters, but there are times when it can be worth 1,000 words.

Former Vol players, in the wake of UT head coach Cuonzo Martin leaving Tennessee for California, took to Twitter to voice their opinions on Tuesday afternoon.

I would be shocked if the players didn’t support their former coach. However, they are to blame for their under whelming as he is. Many times I watched and wondered if they even cared during his three year tenure. Sure, they played well at times, but there were many games in which they were outcoached and outplayed by lesser teams. Too bad it had to end this way, but time for AD Hart to find a coach who can recruit well and coach well.

Lack of motivation definitely seemed to be an issue the past few years.

It is also not strange to me that they really started playing well only after the Bruce Pearl petition starting making national news.
