Jordan Cornish Considering Transferring To SMU

Earlier on Wednesday it was reported that Tennessee agreed to release Larry Austin from his NLI with the school.
Now it appears that Tennessee may also lose SG Jordan Cornish.

Cornish is a three-star shooting guard from New Orleans.
This is obviously a guy the Vols need to keep. If he transfers, it would mean that Tennessee only has two incoming player this upcoming season and four scholarships to fill.
It’s not the ideal start for new head coach Donnie Tyndall, but some things you just can’t control.

Cornish has indeed asked to be released from his scholarship.
