Jack Allison, a four-star 2016 quarterback from Palmetto, FL (Palmetto), received an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Monday.

Allison, 6’4″/200 lbs, is a pro-style quarterback that 247Sports rates as the fourth best 2016 pro-style quarterback in the nation and the 14th best player in the state of Florida.

The Florida native also has an offer from South Florida.

Jack Allison Highlights

The Vols have mostly been offering dual-threat quarterbacks lately, but Butch Jones is adamant about not requiring a dual-threat quarterback to run his offense.

Allison has a big arm (as you can see in his highlights) and looks to be a little quicker on his feet than Justin Worley, but not quite as athletic as Riley Ferguson or Josh Dobbs.

Regardless, his arm looks pretty accurate and it would be fun to watch him air it out with some of the wide receiver recruits that Tennessee is going after.

Allison hasn’t received a lot of attention just yet, but with an arm like his, it won’t be like that for long.
