Tennessee Football: Vols Offer Local Athlete Jocquez Bruce

Jocquez Booth wanted an offer from Tennessee and that’s exactly what he got on Saturday.

The anticipation grew all day on Saturday for Bruce, as he camped with Tennessee and then patiently waited to learn if he had done enough to impress the coaching staff and earn an offer.

Bruce is a 5’10″/165 lb Athlete from Knoxville, TN (South Doyle). He’s rated by 247Sports as a three-star recruit and the 32nd best player in the state of Tennessee.

The Knoxville native has also been offered by Austin Peay, Chattanooga, Memphis and several others.

It’s great to see a local player like Bruce get a potential shot with the Vols. I think it’s highly likely that Bruce will commit to Tennessee in the very near future.
