Former Vols forward Jarnell Stokes made his NBA summer league debut on Saturday for the Memphis Grizzlies and his presence was quickly felt.
Stokes scored 10 points and secured five points in his debut on Saturday.
On Sunday, Stokes improved on his stat line by scoring 16 points and adding 12 rebounds.
But Stokes’ stats aren’t what folks were talking about on Sunday afternoon.
That chatter was reserved for Stokes reverse jam over Tim Ohlbrecht.
Stokes is hoping to make an impact with his hometown team this fall. The second draft pick has a lot to prove, but it looks like he’s off to a strong start so far.
