Eli Wright, a 6’4″/185 lb 2016 shooting guard from Owensboro, KY (Apollo), recently picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers.

Wright is rated by Rivals as a three-star recruit. He also has offers from Indiana, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Purdue and Western Kentucky, according to Rivals.
He also recently picked up an offer from Virginia Tech.

I’m sure the Vols will be in the mix for Wright, but it looks like his stock is quickly rising.
The Kentucky native is receiving a considerable amount of attention lately. He could end up being a highly coveted recruit by the time the 2016 recruiting cycle comes to an end.

It could be tough for the Vols to be out a program like Indiana for Wright.
If they can, however, land Wright, it’d be a huge pickup for Donnie Tyndall and his staff.
