Jocquez “Joc” Bruce is a versatile athlete from Knoxville that dreamed of getting an offer from Tennessee. When that offer finally came, it wasn’t long before he committed to Butch Jones and the Vols.

Bruce is a solid pickup for the Vols. He brings a ton of versatility. The speedy athlete can line up as a running back and take handoffs, or catch passes out of the backfield (he’s built like Isaiah Pead, who played running back for Butch Jones at Cincinnati). He can also play cornerback if needed.

Not only does Bruce bring versatility to the Volunteers, but he’s also full of passion. He desperately wanted to be a Vol and when he earned that offer it was a dream come true.

Sometimes passion can’t be measured by stars. Joc Bruce is a guy that could be a diamond in the rough for the Vols.
