Archie Manning Compliments Vols QB Justin Worley

Justin Worley, who recently participated at the Manning Passing Academy in Louisiana, was the subject of legendary former Ole Miss quarterback Archie Manning’s praise.

Archie Manning obviously knows a thing or two about identifying positive qualities in quarterbacks and while I don’t think this is some sort of tip that Justin Worley will be the starter in the 2014, it certainly isn’t bad news for the South Carolina native.

Worley was starting to find his rhythm as the Vol’s starting quarterback last year, before his season was ended with a thumb injury against Alabama.

Before Worley’s season ended, he was able to help lead the Vols to a victory against South Carolina, their first over a ranked team since 2009.

Justin Worley might not be the most attractive pick to be Tennessee’s starting quarterback in 2014, but if the Vols want to go to their first bowl game since 2010, he’s probably their best option.
