Zach Stewart is essentially the Vic Wharton of the 2015 recruiting class. He was the first player to commit to his respective class and it’s fitting that he’s from Coalfield, TN, which is just 40 minutes from Knoxville.

Unlike Wharton, however, Stewart is not nearly as vocal in recruiting his fellow high school recruits. He’s a nose down, get to work type of guy.

Stewart is an important piece to the Vols’ 2015 class. He’s a versatile player that could end up at offensive tackle or guard, though I believe he’ll likely end up at guard. Stewart will provide the Vols with depth at a position that has been depleted over the past year.

The Tennessee native isn’t a player that has fans excited, but he’s a player that could quietly help the Vols to an SEC East crown in the next several years.
