Rocky Top Among USA Today's Top Ten Fight Songs

Rocky Top might not be Tennessee’s official fight song, but you’d have a hard time convincing any team that’s played in Neyland of that.

The iconic song is one of the most recognized songs that’s played in a college football stadium.

And it was recognized by USA Today as the second best fight song in all of college football.

Rocky Top was second only to Michigan’s “Hail to the Victors”.

Teams that are scheduled to come to Neyland for the first time often practice with the song blaring throughout their week of preparation.

Butch Jones, the Vols’ current head coach, even commented about how great the song was when he was the head coach at Cincinnati.

Some might say it was destiny that led him to Knoxville.
