If you’re among those trying to figure out the SEC, then I have one message for you:

STOP!

Seriously, don’t waste your time. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I have no clue who will represent either division in the SEC Championship game. You could easily make a convincing case for about eight teams right now.

And all eight of those guesses would probably be wrong.

Which makes the task of power ranking all 14 SEC teams a daunting one. Even Vanderbilt made it tough this week as they came back to life against South Carolina, only to see the head ball coach pull one out like he’s done oh so often.

So here’s our best guess as to where each team in the SEC stacks up.

These rankings, as always, are based solely on what these teams have done this season and this season only. Preseason rankings and preconceived notions will not factor in these rankings in any way.
