Vols Recruiting: Ron Johnson Jr Offered By Tennessee

2016 defensive lineman Ron Johnson Jr picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Monday afternoon.

Johnson is a 6’4″/240 lb strong-side defensive end from Camden, NJ (Camden) that 247Sports rates as a four-star recruit.

247Sports also rates Johnson as the eighth best player in the state of New Jersey and the 12th best strong-side defensive end in the nation.

Johnson also received an offer from Missouri on Monday.

In addition to his offers from Missouri and Tennessee, Johnson also holds notable offers from Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and South Carolina, among several others.
