Tennessee football wrapped up spring practice with its annual Orange and White game last Saturday. Here are five concerns about the Volunteers.

Spring practice is in the books for the Tennessee Vols. With 21 expected contributors not doing much during this spring, the coaches clearly left out a lot of what we could expect to see in the Fall. But Vol Nation at least got a glimpse in Saturday’s Orange and White game.

And while there were things to be excited about, including the consistency of the quarterbacks from the pocket and the play of the linebackers, the team left a few things to be concerned about as well.

Now, as the Vols begin the offseason, they have to make sure to stay in shape when Fall practice begins in August.

And at that point, Vol Nation just has to hope these concerns do not continue.

Looking at these concerns, the strength of the different Vol units is obviously going to be taken into account. While some groups over-performed and displayed a level of depth that leaves a lot to be excited about, other groups and players at full strength were, honestly, disappointing.

Keep in mind that it was just spring ball, and we know that the coaches were doing everything they could to make sure they avoided more injuries beyond anything else.

But that does not change the fact that some players under-performed.

Here are the five biggest concerns for the Tennessee Vols following spring practice and heading into the summer.
