Here is the official preview for Tennessee vs Alabama, including the kickoff time, television info, and streaming for the Volunteers and Crimson Tide.

It’s football time on Rocky Top! Tennessee vs Alabama is back for another round, and fans everywhere are psyched about the Third Saturday in October.

Ever since the AP Poll began, this is the highest combined ranking between the two schools.

It’s the first time both are in the Top 10 since 1996.

The Vols are obviously looking to end a nine-game losing streak to the Tide, which began the year Nick Saban took over in 2007. Winning this game would propel them into the College Football Playoff conversation and send them into their bye week on a very high note.

Meanwhile, Alabama is set to begin the brutal stretch run of its schedule. The Tide first have to face Tennessee on the road, then they have to face the Texas A&M Aggies next week.

Those are obviously the top two teams in the conference. And of course, they have the rest of their SEC West schedule to worry about.

The Vols, on the other hand, have a very hospitable schedule after their bye week, so this basically makes for a one-game season. Here is all the information you need to know for the Tennessee vs Alabama game.

No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide at No. 9 Tennessee Volunteers

When: Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3:30 p.m.

Where: Neyland Stadium, Knoxville, Tenn.

TV: CBS

Live Stream: CBS Sports Online

Line: Alabama -13.5

Over/Under: 57

Alabama currently leads the series 52-38-7. However, one of their wins was vacated in 2005, while a tie in 1993 was forfeited. So if you base everything on what happened on the field, they lead the series 53-37-8.

This is the first time that both teams enter the game with championship aspirations since 1999, though.

Being a double-digit underdog at home could motivate the Vols and the Neyland crowd. But nobody has been able to rattle freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts yet.

It will be up to senior quarterback Joshua Dobbs to lead the Vols to victory in this game.
