The Los Angeles Rams recently waived former Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Marquez North. But he just worked out with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys are giving a look to a guy who never really reached his potential in Knoxville after he got waived by his first team.

Former Tennessee football wide receiver Marquez North worked out with the team after the Los Angeles Rams waived him last week.

Houston Chronicle Reporter Aaron Wilson first tweeted out the news.

At 6’4″, the former Tennessee football wide receiver showed lots of promise when he first arrived on campus with the Vols.

He was a freshman with the 2013 class and made a memorable catch to lead to victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks that year. His first two years in Knoxville, he had 68 catches for 816 yards and five touchdowns.

Going into his junior year, he had lots of hype. But he fell off and only had six catches for 16 yards, battling injuries for much of the time.

He then decided to leave early for the NFL but went undrafted before signing with the Los Angeles Rams. However, he didn’t acquire any stats in 2016.
