Open Positions at All For Tennessee

Ever wanted to write about your beloved Vols but haven’t had the place to express yourself? Well, I want to give you that chance. We have some openings on staff that need to be filled. Here’s how it works, e-mail me a submission. I will review that. If I like it,  you will become a guest columnist. After you write seven articles where I can see your consistency and quality of your writing, you’re on the staff.

Open Positions:

News Reporter (FILLED):

You would run a weekly (or more if there is a lot of news) series called the Volunteer News Wire where you pretty much deliver short news blurbs from around the web.

Give a headline, which is a link:

Each news post would consist of 5-10 stories that are the big news at Tennessee. Keep up to date on utsports.com, knoxnews.com, espn.com, and other news sites.  These don’t have to pertain to the big 3 sports, they can be other sports at Tennessee if it’s a big enough story, such as UT dismissing the Men’s swimming and diving coach.

You are also in charge of BREAKING NEWS. If something happens and we need something up immediately, you need to get something up on the stie, ASAP.

If you accept the position, I will help you with the formatting of the news article.

Lady Vols Reporter 

This position, you give a weekly report called  The Lady Vol Report. Just do a report on Lady Vols sports (mostly basketball, but talk about other sports in brief, such as soccer, volleyball etc).

Lists Guy

Are you really good at coming up with lists? Such as 5 coordinator candidates and why or 5 reasons the Vols will beat Kentucky. These can even be light and funny such as 5 most attractive Tennessee fans or top 10 reasons I hate Florida. 

VFLWriter 

Your job is to write a weekly series about the life of a volunteer fan. From living on campus, to going to football and basketball games, tailgating, what the general feeling on campus is about how we are doing. Just the general lifestyle of a VFL. Preferably, this would be someone who goes to the University of Tennessee (Don’t want somebody talking about all the parties you go to, how drunk you get etc. Leave those stories to every goofy college movie ever made).

Sports Analysis 

We have positions filled for football, basketball, baseball and recruiting but we are always taking submissions for these areas. 

Got a Niche? 

Are you really good at writing about something? Maybe you are insane with stats, or you can create funny comic strips, we want you on our site, if you have an idea for something that would be funny, entertaining, interesting etc, send in a submission. I am always open to new ideas.
