Lady Vols Take on Baylor in Elite Eight

Baylor comes into tonight’s contest vs. The Lady Vols at 37-0 led by Brittany Griner, who may possibly become the greatest player women’s basketball has ever seen. Across the court from Griner will be the greatest coach the game has ever seen, this could be Pat Summitt’s final game if the underdog lady Vols fall in tonight’s contest. The two teams squared off in Thompson-Boling Arena in November, Baylor won that game 76-66.

Vols Open Spring Camp 

The Volunteers began spring football practice on Monday, Derek Dooley has emphasized a focus on defense and the running game this spring.

“We’re going to be moving guys around a lot. We’re going to try different things in a lot of different areas,” Dooley said Sunday. “I think this is the first time since I’ve been here that we have some quality depth at a lot of positions and should be a lot of good competition, and I think that’s going to help our team.”
