Yes I know you’re thinking of course Neyland Stadium is number one on a Tennessee site. I believe there’s good reason for it to be at the top of the list. I also think that Neyland doesn’t get the respect it deserves. Tennessee’s stadium is the largest in the SEC and the third-largest in college football. While Neyland doesn’t get quite as loud as Tiger Stadium, it more then holds it own. The Vol’s stadium features some of the best traditions in all of college football (we’ll have an article about all the great traditions of Tennessee football in the coming weeks). A few of those notable traditions include running through the T, the checkerboard endzones, the Vol Navy, and playing “Rocky Top” as much as possible. In my opinion Neyland stadium has the perfect combination of Atmosphere, tradition and loudness. Anybody that doesn’t think that Neyland gets rocking apparently wasn’t at the Tennessee-Florida game in September of last year.  With ESPN’s College Gameday on campus, and both teams ranked, there wasn’t a better football atmosphere anywhere, and that’s why Neyland is number one on our list.
