Mississippi State’s stadium is the second smallest in the SEC, but has the largest video board in the conference, and the fourth largest in the NCAA.
Davis Wade Stadium is probably known most for the cowbells you can hear throughout football games. The cowbells, and other artificial noise makers, were actually “banned” by the SEC from 1977 to 2009, but fans would still sneak them in to the stadium. An agreement has since been reached to only use the cowbells at appropriate times during game stoppages and after Mississippi State scores.
