Yes, we put a punter on the list.
In fact we couldn’t think of a single good reason to leave Colquitt off the list.
The Knoxville native comes from a long line of punters. His father, uncle and younger brother have all punted at Tennessee. The four Colquitts make up the top four all-time punters at Tennessee.
Colquitt’s success has carried over into the NFL. He recently became the highest paid punter in the NFL. Colquitt is coming off his first pro-bowl season, in which he averaged a career best 46.8 yards a punt.
Any player that is one of the best at his position has to be on the list of top former Vols in the NFL, some may even argue that he should be ranked higher.
