Eric Berry will very likely go down as one of the greatest Tennessee Volunteers ever.

If he keeps up his level of play in the NFL, he’ll go down as one of the great safeties to have played the game professionally.

Berry has already accomplished a lot during his short professional career. The former SEC defensive player of the year (2008) made the pro-bowl in his rookie season. Berry led the team in interceptions during his rookie season and was second on the team in tackles. Berry also came up big in the playoffs for the Chiefs, recording nine solo tackles four passes defensed in his first career playoff game.

The 2011 season didn’t go as well. Berry tore his ACL in the first game of the year and missed the rest of the season.

In 2012 the Georgia native came back from his injury and made his second career pro-bowl.

Berry has played in 33 career games and has started in all of them.
