It looks like Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin is having to sell his program a little harder these days.
Check out his recent comments on Twitter, after the avalanche of recruits that have committed to Tennessee in recent days.

Probably not the best way to go about things.
Certainly not a manor in which major-football coaches typically handles themselves. Of course one might say……well we’ll let you finish that thought.
One thing’s for sure — recruits notice this type of thing. A reaction like that when things aren’t going your way doesn’t say a whole lot about your ability to hold up under pressure.
If you’re taking to Twitter to defend your school after being told no by a big time recruit, well maybe being an SEC coach isn’t the right career path.
It probably doesn’t help that Butch Jones informed the media and the nation that the University of Tennessee is the state institution of Tennessee and he plans on owning the state. Coach Jones is already delivering big time on that promise, just four months into his tenure as the head football coach at Tennessee.
