To say he’s excited to be heading to the Sweet 16 is an understatement.

Typically you don’t see the equipment manager in the middle of the celebration, but hey it’s March, anything goes right?

There’s plenty of reason for the whole team to be excited. Florida Gulf Coast is this year’s “Cinderella”. The Eagle’s stunned 2nd seeded Georgetown on Friday night.

The Eagle’s success shouldn’t come as a big surprise. The Atlantic Sun champions showed they were capable of playing with anyone when they took down the Miami Hurricanes 63-51 back in November.

Next up for the Eagles will be a matchup with the Florida Gators in the sweet 16. The Gators advanced to the Sweet 16 by first beating Northwestern State on Friday and then holding off Minnesota earlier on Sunday.

Florida Gulf Coast will take on Florida on March 29th, tip off time is still to be determined.
