On Wednesday Ethan Wolf became the 8th commit in the 2014 Tennessee Volunteers recruiting class when he committed to the Volunteers.

Wolf is a three-star tight end/defensive end from Minster, OH (Minster). 247Sports rates Wolf as the 24th best player in the state of Ohio.

The newest member of the Vols 2014 class stands 6’6″ and weighs in at 240 lbs. Tennessee’s tight end coach, Mark Elder, was key in Wolf’s recruitment.

If Wolf was to play defensive end, he’d become the first 2014 commit on the defensive side of the ball that is not a defensive back.

Besides his offer from Tennessee Wolf also holds offers from Arkansas, Boston College, Michigan State, Nebraska and Pittsburgh among others.

Wolf will be a part of a Tennessee class that is shaping up to be one of the Vol’s more impressive recruiting classes in recent memory.
