On Sunday evening wide receiver Lawrence Lee became the most recent commit to the 2014 Tennessee Volunteers recruiting class.

Lee is a 5’10″/167 lb receiver from Pensacola, FL (West Florida Tech) and is rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports.

The Florida native was offered by the Vols on March 11th and took his first trip to Knoxville this past weekend and apparently came away impressed, as he made his commitment shortly after returning home.

Lee became the second wide receiver in the 2014 class to commit to the Volunteers. Neiko Creamer committed to Tennessee just over a month ago.

The newest Tennessee commit would appear to fit the prototypical mold of a Butch Jones receiver — small and shifty with good hands. In the past two seasons Lee has 103 receptions for 2,145 yards and 28 touchdowns.

Lee’s commitment also marks the third Vol commit in a row to come outside of the tri-state area, showing the versatility that Butch Jones and his staff have brought to the recruiting process for the Vols.

Lawrence  Lee also has offers from Memphis and Missouri.

According to Wes Rucker, Lee’s commitment brings the Vol’s to 4th in 247Sports team rankings.
