From Bleacher Report
"This Saturday, the Tennessee Volunteers will honor an annual spring tradition. They will welcome fans from all over to Neyland Stadium for the Orange and White Game, where they will be treated to an early preview for the fall’s team. This year, the hallowed stadium should be sold out."
From Rant Sports
"Tennessee concludes the first spring practice under first-year head coach Butch Jones on Saturday for the Volunteers’ annual Orange and White game from lovely Neyland Stadium and face a litany of questions after a 5-7 season. The Volunteers saw a revolving door of key players at skill positions bolt earlyfor the NFL draft including quarterback Tyler Bray and wide receivers Justin Hunter and Cordarrelle Patterson in the wake of the firing of Derek Dooley after three dismal seasons in Knoxville."
From the Times Free Press
"Justin Coleman found himself in a familiar situation. As the football spiraled through the air toward the end zone, the Tennessee cornerback was in single coverage against its intended receiver. It’s a position in which Coleman was put many times last season, only to see the ball land in the hands of the player he was trying to defend. Most of the time, Coleman couldn’t make the play when presented the opportunity."
From the UT Daily Beacon
"For the third time this spring, the Tennessee Volunteers took to Neyland Stadium for their Saturday practice. It was the twelfth of 15 spring practices for the Vols and was the last practice in Neyland before the Orange and White game on April 20."
From Go Vols Xtra
"The ride Saturday from the Lexington hotel to Cliff Hagan Stadium was silent. As in mythical Mudville after Mighty Casey struck out, there was no joy on Tennessee’s baseball bus.“Almost like we were driving to our funeral,’’ coach Dave Serrano said Monday."
