From CBS Sports
"Ja’Wuan James came to Tennessee in 2010 as one of the most highly-recruited offensive linemen in the country. In his very first practice the coaches put James at right tackle and he has remained there for 37 consecutive starts. Needless to say, James has done his part to improve Tennessee football."

"Senior safety Byron Moore is so confident that Tennessee fans will break the school’s record for spring game attendance on Saturday, he’s threatened to leave Twitter forever if the crowd falls short. For someone who seems to tweet in his sleep, that’s a bold threat.“That’s my challenge to the fans. If we don’t break the record, I’m getting off Twitter,” he said with a laugh."
From the Times Free Press
"The Tennessee basketball program’s 2013 recruiting class added another member on Wednesday, the first day of the late signing period.Murfreesboro Blackman High School combo guard Darius Thompson became the Volunteers’ fourth signee, joining five-star shooting guard Robert Hubbs, three-star forward A.J. Davis and three-star guard Travon Landry by signing and sending his national letter of intent."
From Online Athens
"Tennessee coach Butch Jones believes the use of some unusual sound effects this spring can help the Volunteers make a little more noise this fall."
From Saturday Blitz
"The initial phase of Butch Jones’ first season leading Tennessee football wraps on Saturday with the Vols’ spring game. Lingering over Jones until Tennessee kicks off Aug. 31 against Austin Peay is a pea-soup-clear quarterback quandary. Our Ryan Wooden wrote on March 5 the quarterback competition was the spring’s highlight. Jones introduces a new offensive philosophy onto Rocky Top, and obviously, the right quarterback is essential to its implementation."
