The readers have spoken and named legendary Lady Vols coach Pat Summitt the greatest Tennessee Volunteer of all time.

Summitt is beyond deserving of the honor and we here at All For Tennessee salute her for her tremendous accomplishments during her time on Rocky Top.

Pat Summitt received 34% of the vote, beating out General Robert Neyland (27%) and Peyton Manning (25%).

The former Lady Vols coach is an eight-time SEC coach of the year, eight-time national champion, 16 time SEC champion and has a career winning percentage of 84%. Summitt also has the most career wins by a Division 1 college basketball coach with 1,098.

During Summitt’s coaching career (all with Tennessee) she never missed an NCAA tournament and holds the record for most NCAA tournament wins (109).

We could go on for days about Pat Summitt’s career accomplishments and what she means to the University of Tennessee.
