From Rant Sports
"The Tennessee Volunteers finished the 2012-2013 season in disappointing fashion after losing to the Mercer Bears in the first round of the NIT. The Volunteers and head coach Cuonzo Martin were extremely disappointed that they didn’t make the NCAA tournament, but it’s time to start looking towards the 2013-2014 season. Tennessee will be the team most equipped to win the SEC next year."

"Though it was the last class before the exam, Thursday’s Tennessee football practice didn’t emit that easygoing feeling that comes with the last day of school.“This was the cramming before the final,” UT defensive line coach Steve Stripling said.As students, the Vols have about three weeks until the end of the spring semester. As football players, they have one day until the ultimate test of a spring football game."
From the UT Daily Beacon
"After playing their last five games on the road, the Diamond Vols will return to Lindsey Nelson Stadium this weekend, hosting a three-game series against Ole Miss. The Vols had a very promising road trip, sporting a 4-1 record over the last two weeks, with wins over non-conference opponents ETSU and Virginia Tech. The Vols also took two out of three from then No. 13 Kentucky last weekend in Lexington, which was only the team’s second SEC series win of the season so far."
From the Times Free Press
"John Jancek went into his first spring practice as Tennessee’s defensive coordinator prepared to adjust on the fly.The installation plan included a gauge-on-the-go approach and needed no expectation level. With the leg work of spring practice complete, Jancek is satisfied with the execution of it and the progress the Volunteers’ much-maligned defense made."
