We found out on Wednesday that Demarre Kitt, one of the Vols top wide receiver targets, will be making his college choice known on June 10.
Kitt is a four-star receiver (247Sports) from Tyrone, GA (Sandy Creek). Kitt stands 6’1″ and weighs 182 lbs. He’s been clocked at 4.53 in the 40 yard dash.
The 23rd rated wide receiver in the nation has narrowed his choices down to three schools — Clemson, Ohio State or Tennessee.
Most recruiting experts are projecting that Kitt will choose Clemson.
Kitt was last on Tennessee’s campus on April 1. Even if Kitt doesn’t choose the Vols, it should be an encouraging sign to fans that one of the top wide receivers in the state of Georgia has Tennessee so high on his list.
Kitt also has offers from Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan and Notre Dame among others.
