The spring game was held on April 20th and admission was free to the event. The Vols had their second biggest crowd of all time at the event.
Tennessee Volunteers sophomore defensive back Daniel Gray will not be with the team this fall.
InsideTennessee.com first reported the news late Wednesday night.
The Lauderdale Lakes, Florida native played in eight games during his freshmen season, starting one.
Gray finished his freshmen campaign with six tackles, five of the solo variety and one assisted tackle.
Coming out of high school Gray was rated as a three-star defensive back by 247Sports. He was the number 100 overall cornerback in the class of 2012.
Gray was reportedly dealing with some personal issues back home, we’re not sure if that’s what led to his transfer.
Daniel Gray was not expected to start at cornerback this year, but anytime you lose depth at a position it’s a blow to the team.
