Tennessee Volunteers commit Daniel Helm was named one of Rivals Camp Series top tight ends.
Helm committed to the Vols on April 23, shortly after taking part in the Rivals Camp Series stop in St. Louis.
Here’s what Rivals had to say about Helm.
"The 6-foot-4, 216-pound prospect has the speed and agility of a wide receiver, and is a sure-handed pass catcher."
Rivals rates Helm as a four-star prospect and the 6th rated tight end in the nation.
The Chatham, Illinois (Glenwood) native has also received offers from Arkansas, Michigan, Michigan State, NC State and Virginia Tech among others.
Helm is a very underrated commit for the Vols. He’s one of the top tight ends in the nation, and is extremely important to Tennessee’s 2014 class. With the Vols lack of depth at the the position he should see a decent amount of playing time in 2014.
