Tennessee football in 2014 is going to be something special.

Butch Jones and the new staff at Tennessee are off to a blazing start on the recruiting trail so far in 2013. They’ve already secured a commitment from one of the top players in the country (Jalen Hurd) and are in the hunt for several others.

We’ll be periodically giving you ranking updates from now until signing day, so you can see how the Vols stack up against the competition.

Here’s the top 10 from each of the three major recruiting services

As you can see the top five tends to differentiate between the three services. Essentially when you get into the top five it’s basically impossible to tell a difference between the talent coming in at that point.

The good news for the Vols is that most of their commits already seem so passionate about Tennessee, often recruiting others on Twitter. A lot of commits end up changing their minds and flipping their commitments, but I just don’t see that being the case with this class.

There’s a definite reason to to be excited about football on Rocky Top.
