Vols Recruiting: Akeem Judd Offered

Junior College running back Akeem Judd, out of Milledgeville, GA, was extended a scholarship offer by the Tennessee Volunteers on Wednesday.
Judd is a 6’0″/215 lb running back that went to high school in Durham, NC. He was a member of the 2012 class, but didn’t qualify academically.
Akeem wasn’t very highly regarded coming out of high school, but starting picking up a lot of interest last season at Georgia Military College. Judd finished the 2012 season with 463 yards on 71 attempts for an average of 6.5 yards a carry. He also added five touchdowns.
Judd is rated by 247Sports as a four-star recruit. He has seven scholarship offers including the latest from the Vols.
Arizona State, Auburn, Cincinnati, Louisville, Marshall and Ole Miss are the other schools that have offered.
Judd is scheduled to visit Tennessee in late June.
