While everybody is focused on the 2014 recruiting class, Butch Jones’ first recruiting class will be arriving on campus this week.
The newest official Vols appear to pretty excited, judging from some of their tweets this week.
Me and @AJ_vfl are driving down next to each other on the highway. The Ohio boys are on their way to Tennessee!

It’s definitely an exciting time for the new Volunteers.
They’ll begin getting work with their strength coaches, getting acquainted with teammates (most probably already have via Twitter and other social media outlets) and learning their new surroundings.
It won’t be until near the end of summer that Butch Jones and the rest of the coaching staff will finally get their hands on their new players.
The players moving in this week will be joining the Vol’s five early enrollees; Paul Harris, Corey Vereen, Lemond Johnson, Riyahd Jones and Jalen Reeves-Maybin.
A lot of the 2013 signing class may see very little playing time. There may be some surprises (especially at QB), but for the most part it’s best to temper expectations for most of these guys this upcoming season.
Regardless they’ll all be a part of a new era in Tennessee football, and just like them we’re anxious to see what that brings.
