You’ve probably seen by now that Dominique Booth, a recruiting target of the Vols, postponed his commitment announcement that was supposed to take place last Friday.

You’ve also probably seen the rampant rumors that Booth’s offer from Tennessee wasn’t committable, the rumors also mentioned that the Vols, as well as other schools, wanted to see Booth in camp first.

While we can’t comment on anything on Tennessee’s end, we can tell you what Booth is saying on Twitter. As well as what his father has said, then you can draw your own conclusions.

Booth also had a tweet, that appears to have since been deleted, that said all of his offers are committable.

The Vols were considered the heavy favorites to land Booth previously, and they still should be. This is most likely just a case of something being overblown. Booth and his family probably just want to be absolutely certain of Booth’s decision. A lot of players commit before they’re ready and end up having to decommit. The Booth’s appear to be trying to avoid that.

The four-star receiver from Indiana has not reset a date for his commitment.
