Adrian Peterson has been described by some as bionic, a robot and anything but human, based off how he remarkably came back from a torn ACL to have one of the best seasons by a running back ever.
So when you get praise from him, no matter how big or small, it means something.
After the first day of Vikings OTA’s Peterson said he was impressed by Cordarelle Patterson’s speed and agility. He addedthat he’s “giving him the nod”, for now.
It might seem small, but that’s pretty high praise coming from one of the best players in the league.
Peterson pointed out that Patterson has been working hard and taking notes from the veterans on the team.
Patterson said in response to Peterson’s nod, “That’s great news…I appreciate that”. Patterson said he watched Peterson and tried to learn from him during the first day of OTA’s.
The former Vols receiver mentioned that he’s hoping to excel in the return game and “make plays”.
Patterson added that he’s been watching and learning from the other receivers, getting feedback from them after every play and just striving to constantly improve.
