If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a hundred times.

Butch Jones is on a serious roll.

Today the Vols added Joe Henderson to their list of 2014 commits.

Henderson is a 6’4″/225 lb defensive end from Cleveland, OH. 247Sports lists him as a four-star recruit, while some other recruiting services have him as a high end three-star.

Regardless of the amount of stars in front of his name, he’s a huge pick up for the Vols.

Jones had previously recruited Henderson when he was the head coach at Cincinnati.

In addition to Cincinnati and Tennessee, Henderson holds notable offers from: Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Ole Miss, West Virginia and Wisconsin among others.

Henderson was offered by Tennessee on January 29 and took his first visit earlier this month, on May 17.

The commitment of Henderson vaults the Volunteer’s recruiting class to first overall on the Rivals network and second on the 247Sports network (Michigan is ranked first).

Like we said Butch Jones is on a serious roll. Vol fans should be absolutely ecstatic right now, as the team continues to pick up momentum heading into the summer months.
