Football apparently isn’t the only talent that Cordarrelle Patterson brings to the Vikings.

We’ve now seen Patterson finding himself behind the camera multiple times.

Patterson’s latest venture as an amateur camera operator came at the Vikings 8th annual “playground build”

Watch Cordarrelle Patterson work the camera.

Patterson is clearly still an amateur, as his camera operating skills are a little unpolished. Nonetheless it’s nice to see Patterson already fitting in with his teammates, something that is very much part of the recipe for any rookie’s success. When you have teammates behind you, it makes the inevitable ups and downs that a rookie will go through, much much easier to handle.

Hopefully for Patterson this whole NFL thing will pan out for him, because I’m not sure how far his camera skills will get him.

Even more important is what the Vikings are accomplishing through their playground build. It’s great to see players giving back to the community and providing a playground for children that may otherwise go without one of the simple pleasures of childhood.
