Nagging injuries typically end up being most rookies’ kryptonite.
The Tennessee Titans are hoping that doesn’t turn out to be the case with Justin Hunter and his sore hamstring.
Hunter tweaked his hamstring during OTA’s last week and ended up missing some practice time near the end of OTA’s.
According to Chris Peters of Titans Online, the Titans do not believe the injury is anything serious, opting to give the rookie some time off.
If I’m a Titans fan I wouldn’t be too concerned this early in the off-season, but you’ve got to hope it doesn’t become a recurring theme.
Outside of Hunter’s ACL injury, he did not have a lot of durability issues while at the University of Tennessee.
Hunter will have to add to his lanky frame though, if he wants to hold up over the course of a 16 game NFL regular season schedule.
