As we mentioned earlier in the week, the trend of recruits releasing a list of their top 10 schools is getting a bit extreme.

Well the trend continued today as Richard Yeargin III, a four-star defensive end/outside linebacker, released his top 15.

Most of the major schools that have offered Yeargin found a place on his list, which he specified was in particular order.

The Vols were the first SEC team to offer Yeargin, a native of Ft Lauderdale, FL, on February 6. The potential defensive end is the teammate of defensive back Quincy Wilson at University School. Wilson earlier this week released his top 13 list.

At 6’4″/225 lbs, Yeargin is well on his way to the size needed to play defensive end in the SEC. As you can see from his highlights below, he definitely has the strength and speed to get to the quarterback.

The Vols are definitely in the mix for Yeargin, even though they may not be at the top of his list. It’s rumored that he’ll be visiting Tennessee this summer.

As Butch Jones has mentioned before, the biggest obstacle for the Vols is getting the recruits on campus, at that point Tennessee sells itself.
