"When the Lady Vol softball team arrived at Rocky Top, fresh from Oklahoma and the World Series, it was far from a quiet return.“We’re going to congratulate them,” Hannah Miller said, standing beside her friend Kaitlyn Mallia with a homemade sign that read “Let’s Go Vols!”“They were very good at playing the game, and they always had great spirit and stuff,” Mallia added. The two girls admit they only started watching the team when they made it to the championship. However, they will remain fans, despite the season ending."
From Go Vols Xtra
"One year ago, Oklahoma’s softball team stood in line at Hall of Fame Stadium and watched Alabama accept the 2012 national championship trophy.“From that last out we were the team to beat (for 2013),’’ Oklahoma coach Patty Gasso said Tuesday night. The Sooners were worthy of the burden, sweeping Tennessee 5-3 and 4-0 in the championship series of the Women’s College World Series."
From Fansided150
"The staff of FanSided150 gives their opinions about whether or not the Tennessee Volunteers can be a #1 recruiting class by Signing Day 2014. Currently, the Vols have the 3rd best recruiting class (1st before the Kyle Allen commitment) and have themselves fifteen commitments.FanSided150 also welcomes Zach Ragan from AllforTennessee.com to give his thoughts on the Vols and their 2014 Recruiting class thus far."
From Nooga.com
"That means the entire starting offensive line might need to be replaced, not to mention all the depth behind it. Quantity and quality will be important in this class. The coaching staff seems to have confidence in Jackson, Kerbyson and Crowder as future starters, but the reality is that one or more players from this class could be in line to start as soon as 2014."
